Seven Makeup Tips to Live By:

1) Don't EVER buy cheap makeup. Save up for expensive makeup (it's expensive for a good reason)
2) Never match your eyeshadow with the colour of your eyes, instead look for the opposite colour and it will definately enhance your eye colour.
3) Don't put mascara on and then use an eyelash curler, it makes your eyelashes brittle. Curl them first.
4) --ABOVE ALL-- avoid an oily, thick foundation; it's acne and clogged pores in a bottle. Instead, look for a spray on foundation.
5) Know the difference between a day makeup and a night makeup.
6) Make sure you wash your face 2 times a day, moisturize, and use a SOFT makeup remover.
7) --RULE I LIVE BY-- wear sunscreen almost every day. It moisturizes and prevents the sun from drying up skin cells. It also works well if you have wrinkles. Plus, it will give you a gorgeous, glowing tan in the summer.

When brides do crazy make-up jobs on their big day, it's like they never wear more than mascara 90% of the time but their one special day is when they decide to pull out the drag queen make-up kit and go all out with dramatic eyes and lips (it's one or the other ladies). It just seems liike a bad idea, especially with all of the pictures being taken. And I agree with that one person, upturned black eyeliner looks bad in heavy dark porportions (like Amy Winehouse), done sparsely it can make your eyelid look longer though.

Liquid eyeliner flicked up at the end of your eye does NOT look 'sexy'. It makes you look like a cleopatra look-a-like, and a bad one at that.

Bright pink eyeshadow when you are wearing anything but bright pink.

Badly applied blusher, especially when it's pink. Actually, most blusher looks terrible regarless of colour or applying techniques.

Red lipstick rarely looks good, it makes you look like a granny, especially if you have creasy/crinkled lips.

The moral of the story? Except under extreme circumstances, never do any of the above.

(my opinion) to have spent hours on perfecting it, then having it to melt off your face in a accident with water, staining your clothes and dripping coloured droplets.
