well not so recently - but i fell in a pool when i was a kid and discovered i could swim when the option was drowning

whom I caught one time by a tree
she was very beguiling
her touch had me smiling
but I knew her spirit had to be free
I let her have her way
She wanted me to stay
and I loved her long and strong all day
