First thing he tells me is I can take my rings off and he already has and now he is single and I can not question him on whatever it is he wants to do.

Just yesturday he was telling me how he wants to work on things and how he loves me.

This doesnt match up but oh well. Divorces suck. And so do people who say I love you and Immidiately go seeking someone else when things do not work out.

Any one been there?

I love her with all my heart but I dont like the idea of splitting up her parents, but not my actions causeing the breakup. And before anyone says stop having kids, I am way ahead of the game for once, tubes tied. = )

Yup.

Since you got the divorce papers, no need to hold on to him. Tell him to stop calling you to try and upset you. In fact, unless you have children, there's no need to contact him at all.

Take some time to mourn. Don't worry about how he's coping. His immature actions prove that he isn't adult enough to maintain a relationship anyway.

OMG...I have sooooo been there, and still dealing with it. I'm 31, have been married for 8 years, and the last 3 to 4 years were rocky. I had finally mustered up the balls to actually file for divorce a month ago. But it's so funny because a couple weeks prior to me doing that, my husband was telling me how much he loved me, didn't want me to divorce him, was crying and saying he misses his family (we've been separated for a VERY Long time) how he can't even sleep in his bed cause I'm not next to him. Then,,,,,get this.....I go to his house literally TWO days after him spilling his guts...his old girlfriend (who he flew in from NC to cali) was there with their 4 month old baby : ) The child that he "quote" didn't want to begin with, has no interest in, and would only pay $$$ to but not ever see because he wanted to work on things with me. Oh yeah...and it gets better than that...But in short..I've been where you're at but actually I'm doing REALLY good considering all of that. It used to bother me but not really anymore, I mean this whole situation has actually made me stronger and it actually gave me closure and helped me to move on with my life. I was stuck in limbo for a long time and ever since that incident, I totally thank God it happened. I am now living the life I want, without looking back like I used to. Email me if you need to vent : )

So he's a jerk. that's probably part of the reason for you sending him divorce papers. I would guess that he was just blowing smoke until the papers arrived so you wouldn't get suspicious. Also, since he made a big point of announcing his single status, but had no girl to flout in your face, that he's just rattling your cage. Carry through with the divorce and find a nice man to date, eventually.

Good luck.
