There have been so many, to be perfectly honest, some of them I can no longer remember their names and haven't even seen them in years. I'll give you one from my childhood

One of my favorites from when I was a kid, and one I don't really remember the name. I think it was something like "Mother Bunny and the Golden Shoes" or "Gift of the Golden Shoes." It's all about this mother bunny with a really large family, something like six or eight pairs of children. Maybe just five pairs, don't really remember exactly. Anyway, she lived in the country and had to raise the kids by herself and at first it was really difficult on her cause they were too young to do anything. But as they got older she taught them to do various things in pairs. Like one pair would paint lovely pictures to brighten up the house, another would help clean the floors, another would clean the dishes, and so on.

One day the Easter Bunny, a kindly old bunny, sent an invitation to all the bunnys, rabbits and hares to come to his Easter Castle cause he was looking for some new bunnies to deliver easter eggs and baskets to all the children of the world The mother bunny showed up with all her kids, all the other bunnies and such making fun of her and telling her to return home and tend her family. But when the old Easter Bunny came to her, he complimted heron such a lovely family and then asked her if she thought she was fast enough to deliver his eggs for him. It was something all the bunnies, rabbits, and hares had to prove, he only wanted the fastest as they only had a night to make all the deliveries. So she had her kids scatter all over the place, giving them a few minutes head start before dashing about and bringing them back into line in less time than it had taken for them to scatter. Naturally the Easter Bunny selected her as on of the few Easter bunnies.

What really made the story so memorable was the Easter Bunny's request of the mother bunny. You see, Easter morning was fast approaching and she was getting ready to take a basket of eggs home to her own children but the old Easter Bunny approached her with this lovely egg that had a beautiful scene inside. He explained to her that it was for a very sickly little child (don't remember if it was a boy or a girl) who lived at the top of a mountain. He knew the child's heart would be broken if they didn't recieve this special egg cause and he wanted someone who clearly cared very much to deliver it. Naturally the mother bunny was his first and only choice.

So she set out to deliver the egg. But oh how difficult it was to climb the mountain. She eventually fell all the way down to the bottom, hold the egg and keeping it safe. It was just too far, and she'd been hurt in the fall. Mother bunny just knew that poor child's heart was going to be broken as the sun was just starting to peak over the horizon, which greatly saddened her. At that moment she discovered the Easter Bunny was there by her. He helped her up and gave her a pair of golden shoes, promising her they would help her with her task.

And they did too, for she no longer felt any pain when she put them on. And the shoes allowed her to leap great distances in a single bound. She was able to get the egg right to that child just as the sun was creeping in to the room where they slept. And then she returned home to her own children, keeping the golden shoes in a place of honor for the rest of her life.

It was a book I read alot as a kid, and one that always managed to make me happy cause of how much the mother bunny really cared and the kindness the Easter Bunny showed her. Plus it was something I was able to remember well enough to tell to one of my second cousins a few years back, something that kept her entertained and that she really seemed to enjoy hearing.
