Yes, the world will eventually come to an end. In the Bible, it states that Jesus will come back and take the believers back to heaven in safety. The question is when this will be. The world will end when people have started to become all about battle. People believe that the world is coming to an end, for people are participating in wars, killing each other and doing bad things. As this gets worse, this is supposed to mean that the world will soon come to an end. However, believers and followers of Christ should not be worried for the end of the world, for those who truly believe will be saved and will not experience any pain or frightening.

Of course the world is coming to an end - eventually - according to the theory that I believe in and have had explained to me. i.e. the expansion of the sun enveloping the Earth when it becomes a Red Dwarf. However it could end earlier with asteroid collision or some other astrocosmic catastrophe sent by nature - or it could be man-made catastrophe - nuclear or some other scientific accident when working on the cutting edge of knowledge.

However you may mean is life coming to an end or is civilisation coming to an end. Again I would say the answer is yes, but I think mankind has a lot more to achieve? before it happens. Too many people just see what happens on their own doorstep, there are a lot of good things happening in the world and a lot of good people. Be positive, think positive, do positive - life can be a lot better.

Read the 'Desiderata' you don't have to have a religion. By the way - raised as a Christian, I consider myself to be a Darwinian.

I'm afraid so, I've thought it for some time. But I think it's just the end of what we call civilisation. I'm not religious but come from a country nearly destroyed by religion and bigoted politics. I've read the conspiracy theories, the premonitions from the psychics, the bible, History of empire, Warfare, politics and Economics and loads of other stuff. Mankind just cannot get on with itself at the moment. We've evolved too fast technologically and not fast enough emotionally or psychologically. Like greedy children ready to fight at the drop of a hat.
There needs to be a central Government(if we must have one) to ensure that everyone is equal and an end to ownership of bits of a planet which will still be here long after we've blown ourselves to kingdom come or drowned in our own waste.
You just have to be prepared for the worst. I am
Think of it as a new start, cos if it all does go **** up we will have learnt a lesson, Right?

You have a question placed in the wrong section. It should have been in the religion and philosophy section. And about WW3 I will say that it is going on. We are at war with terrorists and it is a WW3 we are fighting, though not at full fledge. Another thing, you saw blood, people crying and all that. So, it is a routine life in this world. Don't worry, I guarentee you that this world won't end. At least not for coming 3 to 4 hundred crores of years.

The only answer to your question would be opinionated at best. First of all, dreams of the end time are quite common and have been dreamed for thousands of years. So your dream is not original or unique. Even as a Christian, I am of the belief that the end times are upon us.

I only ask that you consider two points to the argument. First of all, anyone who loses their lives today has their world come to an end. My other point is biblical in which John said that the world would be destroyed by fire. It is a fact that our sun is dying and that when it's in its final death throes that it will destroy Mercury and Venus in the process. Of course, by then, life will probably cease to exist on Earth as well.

Ever since, people cried, blood was everywhere, climate changed, countries fought. What you have dreamt of is nothing new. Thing like these happen all time. Noticed something? Our civilization still exists after all the horrors -- and gets better and better. Your perception of the future is manipulated by what you see in the TV, hear from your friends, etc. I believe that everything will end but not in our lifetime.

I hate to be the one to tell you, but WW3 is here. They just aren't calling it WW3.

I was thinking exactly the same this morning, i was looking at the news and saw that there have been floods in texas, fires in greecea, terrorist attacks and other natural disasters.

I seriously think we've done the damage and theres no going back and that this is the beggining of the end.

Your dream sounds quite alarming, try and relax more I say and have a better sleep.

Often we do believe the hype, and sometimes this really is not good for our health!

The climate has really not changed, it's just that now the publicity is 100% more exaggerated!

The fighting has been going on since Christ!

Man may come to an end but in the absence of man and man made gasses the eco system would restore and the planet would thrive in time.

Most wars are religious and political and those will always continue, but fear not! we live in a safe country so we are considered lucky.
