1) LT, like Peyton, he stays on top until someone knocks him off
2) Steven Jackson - explosive back, explosive offensive, every down, goal line, what's not to like?
3) Gore he may not finish the third best RB, but he'll finish in the top 5 or 6 for sure. No one else but LT and Jackson have that much certainty around their success.
4*) Maroney, but... just projecting his stats, Maroney belongs in this slot (if healthy), but Shaun Alexander is a safer pick here if you have to draft fourth. Let Maroney drop to 7 or 8.
5) Joseph Addai - shades of Edge circa 2000. Addai, had he been the full time starter last year, would have 1700 rushing and 575 receiving and certainly more than 8 TDs.

LJ will lose 100 or more carries and another lineman this year. His YPC will drop to the high 3s. He'll still be a good back, but if you draft him top 5, he will be somewhat of a bust.

1. LT
2. S. Jackson
3. L. Johnson
4. F. Gore
5. B. Westbrook
5A. J. Addai

Now, that said... I hate both Gore and Westbrook. Huge injury risks, as is Alexander the Great. I mean Gore shredded BOTH knees in college, but you can't ignore what he did last year.

If I was drafting, I would probably prefer the safer Rudi Johnson or Joseph Addai. Maroney could be awesome, but he was signing autopgraphs the other day in a sling. He's just not healthy enough to take that pounding.

I also think Travis Henry should have a monster year.

1. Steven Jackson
2. LT
3. Willie Parker
4. Rudi Johnson
5. Larry Johnson

LT is amazing but Norv Turner can ruin a great runner by depending on him too much and calling an awful game, ie Ricky Williams 3 years ago. Jackson is the man, the one and only in STL. Parker has blazing speed, power and a new coach that likes to run it, Rudi Johnson is on the 2nd or 3rd best offense in the league and will benefit by being the feature back, and LJ would be higher but his situation is unsure.
Other notables are 6. Deuce McAllister 7. Willis Mcgahee
8. Thomas Jones also a sleeper. Book it.

1. LT
2.S.Jackson
3.Alexander - foot is fine inside source
4.LJ - If he doesn't hold out.
5. Willie Parker - last 2 years over 1,200 yards rushing in only his 3rd season.W 21 TOTAL TDs.
Close 5th is Westbrooke over 1,200 yards total w 26 total TDs.
Gore - only 1 year for over 1600 yards 9 TDs. If he does it again this year then top 5 maybe.
Larwence Maloney coming off surgery as top 5 NO WAY.
(Opps didnt see the cbs scoring dont know how they score)
