Once i installed a game with a game DVD ,but suddenly something went wrong with the installation process.So i canceled the installation process & then again tried to install it by going to my computer,but i find the DVD drive icon missing & also the drive is not ejecting the disc!!what should i do?please help me!!!

This might help. Restart your computer. Go to my computer and check and see if it's there. If not, go to Control panel, system, hardware (tab on top), device manager DVD /Cd roms and check to see if it's there. if it is, right click and uninstall the driver. Reboot the computer and look for the found new hardware wizard to start. Reinstall the driver and recheck My Computer . If this doesn't solve your problem you can always use a paper clip to manually eject the disk. Let me know there are a couple of other things you can do. Try this first.

Try Turning Off The Computer And Hold Down The Right Mouse Button When You Restart OR Look For A Small Pin Hole In The Disc Drive Face Plate Under The Disc Tray And Poke A Pin Into It To Hit The Manual Eject Switch.

Have you tried restarting your computer?
You might also be able to get it out by getting a straightened out paperclip and poking the little hole somewhere around your drive. Thats what I would do. Then again Im not a pro so you probably shouldn't listen to me.

That means DVD drive is not even existing in the eye of computer circuitry, are all cables that it suppose to be connected really connecting?

if you wanted the disk
take one thin needle
keep it in the small hole on the DVD drive and push
the DVD will come out

Just turn off the power . and restart it . wish it can do some use for you .
