I truly think there is a reason for everything and if it is meant to be then you will reach your desire if not then something else will pop into place and it could even be better than the 1st choice! So either way think in a positive way and accept life as a learning experience, it is all good and it gets better in time!

If what we want is in harmony with what the bigger I AM wants, and we realise that we can only gain the good and best things for ourselves in life, not by chasing the pleasures of the senses, or by storing up materialism, but by becoming our better selves, then YES. If you ever believe that you won't then you are one without hope and a danger to yourself and everyone else in this world.
Hope is another of those loaded words, and many don't like to even think of it, but when you see that the right way is the only way, hope is all we have. Proof of it's success is still not seen.
Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for but NOT YET PERCIEVED.

Sometimes. Some goals are achievable; some are not. Many things happen for reasons other than being someone's goals; it is a good bet that Bill Gates did not set out to earn fifty billion dollars -- that is simply a side effect of his having created a company that sells valuable products.

Percentage wise we certainly have a much better chance of getting what we want in life if we are willing to try for it, and generally speaking the rewards of the journey called "trying" are much better even if we fall short than those of sitting on our hind ends and twiddling our thumbs in abject misery over not being handed things!!

yeah buddy! absolutely! All you have to do is you have to make it very clear to yourself that you have only that particular object in your mind and NOTHING ELSE! You have to feed your mind everyday, every night and every single minute that passes by with the thought of the object that you want. Of course, you personally will have to do something about it. It's not just that you leave everything up to your mind. A powerful thought is always fruitful. Do everything you can to achieve that goal, within limits of course! And one fine day comes and you see that your dream is realised by your own efforts!!! Come on buddy and leap forward towards your dreams! yeah?

Not always!

You can get what you want if you have the means to go after.

Yup, most certainly. Make your goals realistic, though. All it takes is breaking a goal down into tiny steps and addressing each step methodically. It's not about emotions. It's just about steady brains and determination. One step at a time, like untangling fishing line.

The only thing you should seek in life is to be honest with others and most importantly yourself. All the money, power, and women in the world will not fulfill you if you can't be honest with yourself. In the end I think it is about truth and honesty.

Don't use the word "if" in your question, because it raises the possibility of doubt or failure. Instead use the word "as" or "when".....oh, and the answer is YES...hinging on the answer to another question... "HOW"...don't let religion tell you; go and be a spiritual warrior, and you won't get bogged down ..Good Luck!

We are defined by what we desire.

To pursue is to become.

There are no guarantees, but this much I know:

God sleeps in the Stone
Dreams in the Plant
Stirs in the Animal

And awakens in Man.
