I'm talking about people who contracted it through unprotected sex.

Seriously, your TRUE thoughts about it. I feel no remorse for those people and they got what they deserve.

fistycuffs...you say you dont hate, yet you have the nerve to judge me for my opinion? i asked for YOUR opinion, not your view of mine...loser.

and another thing, you can compare diabetes to AIDS...ofcourse, I know AIDS is a deadly disease, but thats why I dont have it, because I know how deadly it is and I protect myself from it...

AGAINST all Gods...No i'm not ignorant or sick...You dont know me so dont make judgments about me okay? hah, calling ME ignorant..Secondly, Thats my opinion...thats what it will always be. I believe if you contracted AIDS through unprotected sex (WITH THE KNOWLEDGE of what Aids is and how you can contract it) you basically set yourself up for it...Maybe you didnt necceasirly "deserve" it, Let me re-phrase that. But you got it from your own lack of commen sense and I don't feel any kind of sympathy for you...so thats what I think and accept it...

Okay, honestly:

There are some people who truly lack the education and dont know that you can contract AIDS through unprotected sex. That's a horrible thing. So I don't feel exactly feel bad...I guess you could call it empathy. I think thats a better way of putting it.

....Then there are people who know all about it, but can't bring themselves to use a condom or get tested *(therefore, possibly spreading it to others) I feel bad that they didn't have the knowledge to learn about it and use protection. Those are the people I assume you don't feel any sympathy for...and I can understand why.

If a person is a fireman and runs into a burning building saves a family and also has AIDS does that make the fireman less of a hero. Aids is a disease, not a punishment. Do you have no remorse for cancer patients that smoked, or diabetics who ate themselves to death. I feel bad for the real ignorant and unfeeling people in this world. If YOU got it from donating blood you would still have it, the fact that you did not contract it from un-protected sex doesn't change the fact that you are going to die. Don't judge someone until you walk a mile in their shoes.

yes i feel bad not because they had unprotected sex but because we americans with are inventors and scientists cannot come up with the cure, probably has alot to do with tax cuts and money issues, lets put it this way if we took all the wasted money that we wasted on iraq and put it to good use in trying to find a cure, we may not have found it but think how much closer we would be.

oh a forgot its not a dream, we should have more campains on safe sex and give out condoms and knowledge not keep it away or be like some religons and say its a sin, not having the knowledge to protect yourself from this terrible disease should be a sin too because the risk is to great.

Aids is a horrible disease. No one "deserves"it. It is not a judgement, it is a virus. And being human, we make mistakes. Going with the moment, trusting your partner, or a one night stand . One event of unprotected sex can kill. Yes, I feel terrible and sad for those that have contracted this miserable killer over a feel good moment.

never really gave it any thought i guess because i don't know anyone who has it, should it matter how they got it though? Does anyone deserve to get a deathly disease that will kill them? Alot of the people who have it never even knew such a disease even exsisted when they contracted it so how can they get what they deserve? They may have mad dumb decisions to have unprotected sex but I don't think that they should have to pay for that with their life.

Yes, I do.

But I don't feel badly for people like you who have no sympathy or understanding about those who contract deadly illnesses no matter how they got it.

I don't hate that much.

I have the right to judge you because you literally ask a question that requires judgement of others, Sherlock!
In other words ' YOU ASKED FOR IT, bud'

And, brainiac you are the one who is judgmental but you do not like it when the tables turn, right? Take your own advice and stop being judgmental about those with aids.

Did you expect everyone to agree with you, silly?

Yes. Everyone has regrets; some have to face consequences for their actions, but I still don't think anyone deserves to suffer for the rest of their short life as a consequence for what was probably a mistake.

I feel bad for anyone who has any disease. Do people with diabetes get what they deserve? Do people with Parkinson's disease deserve that? HIV is no different. It is a human problem and it is not my position to judge anyone for how they obtain a disease.

I do. I mean it's dumb to have unprotected sex, but I still empathize with them. They're human and prone to mistakes. On the other hand our actions bear consequence. You reap what you sow.

They may have been reckless but no one deserves to die for such a small mistake of judgement, I suppose you could say those who have been really promiscuous cant complain but i don't think it should be seen as a punishment.
