In Northern Ireland Can two solicitors from the same company act for a commercial landlord and tenant?

The answer is simple.

They absolutely and undeniably CANNOT, unless both sides agree in writing that it can happen (and I can't believe they would).
It creates an irresolvable conflict of interest.

A small point, solicitors acting together are a firm (partnership) or an LLP (limited liability partnership). They can't be limited companies.

Not sure whether this is actually illegal - but certainly unethical and therefore I would suggest, that since this has apparently caused a problem for you (which is why I presume you have asked this question) then a formal complaint to the Law Society may produce some results for you

Wouldn't have thought it was ethical what if there is a conflict of interest
