This sounds like a urinary tract infection which is easily cleared up with antibiotics.
If left untreated it can get alot worse, so do check it out.
Alot of women suffer from urinary tract infections for many reasons, sometimes it's as simple as not having drank enough water, other times it could be bacteria was introduced to the area through wiping incorrectly after a bowel movement, always wipe front to back.
It's very common so don't be worried that you are going to be judged by this.

Get to the doctor a.s.ap, he/she will take a urine sample and send it for culture. In the mean time he/she will give you a urine alkalinizer that will dilute our urine and make you pass more frequently so that you pass out whatever bacteria that is in the bladder or urinary tract. The doc should give you a broad spectrum antibiotic that is in powder or tablet form. The powder form you have to mix with water and drink it all up.
After a few days when the results of the culture come back, the doc will tell you whether the bacteria in the culture show any resistance to the antibiotic. If there are signs of resistance, then the clinic will call you up and give you a prescription for another type of antibiotic. You MUST finish the course.
Do not apply antifungals before you confirm with the doc whether it is a vaginal infection or a bladder/urinary tract infection. Applying antifungal cream before confirming it is a yeast infection will only help the natural yeast in your vagina develop resistance to antifungals and the next time you could have a really nasty infection but alas, the cream doesn't help.

Probably a bladder infection! Does it feel like you need to go all the time as well, even right after you just did? You need antibiotics.
