If you value your marriage, find anything to do to keep busy and not become lonely. Get a hobby, join a club. Preferrably join a military wives' club, so there aren't too many men looking for some action. If you have to, get some toys or something to take the edge off your physical needs.
But do not seek "comfort" with another man. That is your husbands number one fear while he's away. (maybe #2 if he's in combat) If you cheat, he will find out. And when he does, it won't be pretty. His biggest comfort is knowing he has a wife and home to come home to. If you take that away from him, he will make sure you never can again.

First of all... BE FAITHFUL! I've seen so many women, and men, who say they become "weak" needing someone there for them and stray. Just sad how easily they'd rather cheat than to wait the deployment out.
Keep busy, makes time go by a bit faster. Keeping your mind occupied keeps you from getting depressed/sad because he's gone.
Get a job, go to school, volunteer, or if you're away from family go back home and visit or spend that time away with your family. The people that really love you (family/close friends) will be there to support you whenever they see you down and sad because he's gone.

well linda ho hope your name is just a fluke!
For any woman or man to be unfaithful while their Husband or Wife is away defending our country is to me the most dishonorable thing a person could do.
I would have them Hanged, Drawn and Quartered like in late 1200-1300's. put on public display for the world to see.
if you are asking in good faith then I pray you find a support group near your base or home. they can find you plenty.
Hospitals need help everyday

NOTHING! it is your responsibility to be faithful and to be trusting while he is gone. you married him, and said I DO, so now as his wife, you wait for him to return. there is nothing wrong with hanging out with friends, but once you start wondering and looking for a quick ( you know what), then you might as well not be married to him. the BEST reward you could ever have is knowing you stayed TRUE while he was gone!!
