this is whatall the stats are good for
1. HP-This counts as your pokemons life, when it gets to zero, your pokemon faints
Attack-This counts how much physical damage you can do to an opponet, this includes attacks like Mach Punch and Blaze Kick
Defense-This stat lowers the damage done by physical attacks
Special Attack-this counts how much special damage that you can do to an opponet, this includes attacks like Flamethrower and Hydro Pump
Special Defense-this lowers the damage done to you by special attacks
Speed-tells you how fast your pokemon is
2. You find rare candies out on routes, in caves, buildings, etc, you cant buy them anywhere, but you can exchange them for battle points you win in the battle tower, they cost 48 Battle Points, you get 3 BP for beating 7 trainers and 20 BP for beating the tycoon so that makes it a little easier
3. To get Wi-fi on your DS, you have to buy a wi-fi connector, i suggest from any electronic store. then you have to install it on your computer, but, it must be windows and you must have a broadband internet connection for it to work

1. The stats basically show you what skills your pokemon are better at. Higher SPEED: go before the pokemon you are battleing. Higher SPECIAL ATTACK: more damage on elemantal moves.
2.You can find about 5 rare candies in the game, no buying and there is a way to copy them, but you have to beat the Elite Four. Use this wisely, you probably only find 3 in the game, I have found 4 with the guide book even!
3.All you need is a wireless router that workes with Nintendo WiFi. Go to www.nintendowifi.com and search around for the router list. As long as you have a good router you just need to establish a connection. If you can't I have no idea what to do.

Well the stats really just tell you how strong it is defense/offensive/speed.
You can only buy rare candies if you get enough Battle Points, and you can buy em with the Battle Points at the Towers below Battle Tower. Theyre a lot of points, though.
you don't need cords, you just need an Internet router. At the start of WiFi compatible games, there will be an option Nintendo WFC Settings, and then you hit search for an access point, and once you find it, it's pretty much straight-forward from there.

1. HP = hit points
Attack: how much dmg you will do with your physical attack. Obviously the higher it is, the more damage you will deal
Defense = how much you can take physical hits
Sp. Attack = how much your special attack will deal - Psychic types rely on this.
Sp. Defense = how much your pokemon will survive the special attack.
Speed = who goes first.
2. You can't buy rare candies anywhere. You find along your adventures. That is why they are called rare candies
3. You will need a wireless router to connect to the internet. If you needed cords to play, it wouln't be called a portable system.

There is one place though that you can buy Rare Candies. This is at the Battle Tower (Redemption Center) with your Battle Points (BP). You get Battle Points buy fighting battles at the Battle Tower. I believe it's 46 BP's for one Rare Candy. That's a lot considering you only get 3 BP's for beating 7 trainers in a row.
