Your personality or life using another object..?

I am like a glass vase standing in a house filled with kids that keep knocking me off my stand and the mother keeps glueing me back together..after time i dont look to good with all the cracks so the mother gets me sand blasted to cover it up as this vase is so precious and rare she doesnt want to just through it out..
Now i stand on a high shelf glistening in the light so precious so rare so unique..but if you take the time to admire me and look close enough you will still see the tiny cracks there...

THings arent always what that seem and we just go through life not caring and not noticing the finer details because we seem to be so wrapped up in our selves.

I am like a Weeping Willow, planted by a river flowing with pure water. My roots are strong and my roots are deep. I provide much needed shade from life's storms and my Friends and Family know they can depend on me, to always be there. I am bendable yet solid. And my name is more than my title, it is my heart. I weep for the unconcerned, for the untouchable, cold-hearted people of the world. I weep for the millions of aborted babies, the Veterans who are still hurting, the children who are being hurt, and the elderly that the world seems to think aren't worth the effort anymore.

I am a rock. I was thrown into this earth without me wanting it. But I found earth to be beautiful, warm, and actually comforting. Yet, it is at the same time threatening.

I am strong as a rock. I have survived the threats, beautifully. And have enjoyed the fruits of my strength. I am able to use my strength to hold off any deluge coming my territory, keeping my co-rocks safe from harm. Or shall I say, they keep me safe. No, we all keep each other strong and safe.

I am strong as a rock, but continuous dripping of water on my face will destroy me. It is not the waves as big as the tide that could harm me, but the incessant attacks that I may not be able to protect myself from. Please do not do that to me.

I am warm as a rock. You could even put me on the fire and make me useful to cook your food barbecue style. Or use me to massage your weary back.

I could also be cold. And when I am, please give me warmth by rubbing me into your palms, better if you rub me in your bosom.

I am eternal. I will be here forever, no matter where I finally reside. I maybe tossed and moved around, blown away by the tides, move from island to island, country to country, continent to continent. In my eternal life, I could be on earth, in purgatory, in heaven, or hell. Wherever, however, I will be here forever.

I'm like..a feather. Good to see, and soft like my behaviour. It flies and flies just like I live my life on and on. There will be a point when that feather falls on the ground, that will be when my life is all settled. People do keep me coz they like to have it. Those people are my friends.

I hope that made some sense.
:)
