Jesus. He fought with kindness, peace and justice and won over the majority of the world. Has any violent warrior ever achieved so much ?

Lets see,, William Wallace no the real person was not like the movie and it did not really happen all that way. And he did not fight for freedom he fought to serve another King.
Drift King
A person that believes that the Mongols were not the horde of barbarians that they are portrayed as. He was on my list but I will yield to you.
But you mentioned warrior and not, General, or great leader, after Khan I would have said Washington, but warrior.
One of my favorite warriors of history is little known, and I think even though he was a leader he would qualify as a warrior.
Chief Joesph of the Nez Perice would be my favorite warrior, a very amazing man. Not as ruthless and brutal as Geronimo, or a tribal Chief as Cochise.
From where Sun rises to where the sun sets, I will fight no more forever.

You've probably never heard of him before but my favorite 'heroe" is -
Armed Scorpion
He was a fierce warrior representing Tlaxcala against the Aztecs in one of the religious-slanted "garland wars" (battle pitched for securing captives to be sacrificed). Armed Scorpion already had a big name because he managed to capture so many enemies for sacrifice.
When the Aztecs finally captured him, they decided that the whole "rip out his heart at the temple" thingy wasn't good enough for him; so they decided on the 'mock battle sacrifice'.
Armed Scorpion was given a macuahuitl (pronounced 'mak-koo-hew-it-lil', which was kind of like a cricket bt with razor sharp blades along the sides) the had only cotton fabric in for the blades. The Aztec people gathered around the large stone dias he was going to fight on and watched in anticipation. The Aztecs sent in their first warrior with full armour, shield and weapon. Like a bolt of lightning, Armed Scorpion dodged the first thurst and he threw the warrior of the dias; the man had died from a broken neck. The crowd was agog with what had happened - no one had ever survived this in their history. They sent another in. He too, met with defeat (and death) at the hands of Armed Scorpion. This went on until he had killed a total of 14 Aztec warriors. Then an Aztec preist had the idea of throwing a left-handed warrior in; this threw off Armed Scorpion. The battle lasted longer than the others but ultimately, a preist intervened and called it a draw; surely the gods did not want Armed Scorpion to be killed this way.
The Aztecs had been fighting a group to the East, called the Tzintzuntzan (pronounced the "zin-zoo-slan"). They had never been able to defeat them (they pocessed the first copper weapons in Mesoamerica). The Aztecs decided, with the allegience of Armed Scorpion, that they would send a small force of 50 men with him to launch a raid. The men left and for 50 days no one heard a thing from the force (which was common to invade this group's territory). Then, one day, Armed scorpion came back with 5 prisoners from the battle (none of his force survived). The Aztecs rejoiced that they had such a prize. Armed Scorpion addressed the elders, "I have fought all my life and won but as I was returning to the city I had a vision that the gods are now ready to accept me into the underworld, please do what you intended orginally and know that they (the gods) will be pleased that you are unleashing this warrior unto the afterlife".
The Aztecs agreed to this request and sacrificed Armed Scorpion. Today, the Mexicans still honour his memory by portraying this warrior on the 100 peso bill.

Genghis Khan
Genghis Khan is one of the most famous leaders of all time, and this is partly because Genghis Khan was one of the greatest military leaders ever. Something that most "non-Mongolians" do not know about Khan, however, was that Khan also happened to be one of the greatest social leaders of all time. Khan prized Mongolian culture, as well as the culture of others. Artistic expression became an important part of Mongolian culture in the form of paintings, drawings, and literature (Empires Beyond the Great Wall). By the time of his death, Khan controlled an area that stretched from Eastern China to Eastern Europe. Khan was not driven by the desire for materialistic items when the time for decision came to attack a village or a tribe. All that Khan desired was power and respect, especially from his followers. Through his intelligent strategic planning and his kind treatment of his followers, Khan earned himself the title "the Emperor of all Emperors"

my favorite warrior in history was Conan the Barbarian. He did more to curb the totalitarianism in his day than any other man. Not to mention the fact he did it with a thief, an old Chinese dude and a hot, smokin chick. The world would be a different place had it not known Conan.
