Because WWE is throwing Benoit under the bus to protect itself. McMahon referred to Benoit as a "monster" on Today this morning, and they have removed nearly all traces of Benoit from the website. They even removed him from this weeks P25.

Ok, that just dont make any sense. Why would WWE kill a person that makes them money. Benoit makes the WWE money by performing for them and entertaining and bringing in the fans. So saying WWE has something to do with this, is just bull.
WWE first off put the tribute to him, then they took it off becuz the media said it was a double-murder suicide, and they put what the media told them on the site. Now that more facts are coming out, they are just staying out of it until the real facts come clear.

They aren't findings, they are observations, they are data. They are being investigated by the authorities, not by Wikipedia, not by WWE. And it has been confirmed that the IP addresses have no connection with WWE.

Why would they? They don't want to draw any attention to themselves. Earlier today you couldn't even find anything about Benoit at all - around noon or so. I haven't looked since, so I don't know if there's anything on there now or not. I think McMahon is afraid people will start to remember the steroid scandal HE was involved in years ago and start to wonder if he 'doctored' test results to keep his people wrestling? Just a thought.
Note: Just went back and looked at WWE and there is NOTHING, I mean NOTHING, about Benoit on there at all!

Why should they put anything on their site about it? The IP # has already been verified to have NOT come from any computer within the WWE hq's building.

that's exactly what it is man they don't want anyone to know anything truth is i belive strongly that they had more than just something to do with this i think they played a huge role in his death
and they don't want people to know that and they'll make damn sure ya don't hear anything bout that
They have removed any trace of chris benoit off there site he busted his butt for them literally and they're treating it like he was never even there
kinda odd isint it
I hope they rot in hell for what they did to him
and there own chairman of the board vince mchman was wrapped in a huge steriod scandal too and god forbid people remember that
we'll never know wwe will make damn sure that they don't bring out the truth

It doesn't promote violence idiot.
It's entertainment. Bottom line. They say don't try this at home so if you try it at home, your to blame.
And Wikipedia can be edited by ANYONE, even IDIOTS.
