When you perform a difficult task successfully, do you tell people about it or keep it to yourself?

If I have done that thing for myself,it is enough to know I have done it.If I have done that thing for some one else , it is enough to know I have helped.If I have done it for gain,I will say it to those that matter.

its best to involve a good team while performing a task which is difficult and expensive ,however its best to share the credit also amongst the team rather than keeping to your self

That would depend on your motives for telling someone. Are you trying to impress? Trying to make them feel inferior, you superior. Would you be truly trying to help that person accomplish something that they could do, if they put the effort, etc., into doing it? Or something along those lines. If you are feeling smug, then it's probably better to keep it to yourself.

Depends on what I did and why, I mean, you gotta tell the boss when you complete and assigned task.

if it isnt a surprise then i see if it is fun enough to be a surprise then yes i tell people.

It depends...I'm not really one to brag, but if it's worth it...then yes I will. I don't make a big deal of things, though.
