I don't feel safe in my high school at all. Kids get things stolen from the every day. My friend got his ipod stolen of his desk when he walked 3 feet away to talk to his teacher. I know a few people who have had phones and ipod stolen from the bathrooms. There are fights all the time, people will just start throwing punches in the middle of the hallway. I've had quite a few people hit me in the hall because they were standing in my way and I told them to move. When big fights break out at lunch it's a few minutes before anyone comes to break it up. One time a kid nearly died in a fight when he started having a seizure and no one came to help him and he's STILL getting hit! In 9th grade we went under a code red lockdown because of a bomb threat and they handled it very poorly. I could go on and on really.....

nope, i don't feel school is safe at all... i'm thinking of sending my child to a christian school or something. i really don't want him to go to any school. i worry about this all the time.... it's not only school either. there was a shooting right in the front mall entrance about 3 weeks ago, killed 1 and wounded the other. the guy was out on 50,000.00 bond for stocking the girl. the girl and her dad was at the mall. the boy came up to them in the mall, followed them outside and shot them both. he was out on bond for already stocking her, plus he had warrents on him for other stuff.
i only feel safe at home!!! plain and simple!!!

I worry about them, just becuase I know there are certain people they aren't very nice to. When enough people pick on the same person, they will eventually snap, and that worries me.
