I've seen several mobster movies (though I'm not actually that much of a fan), and I have to say that the best was Hoodlum (at least, that was my favorite).

I actually like some of the funnier ones.. like.. Mobsters and Mormons, or Corky Ramano... a more serious one would be Mobsters. (Christian Slater as "lucky" luciano).. hmm. I remember liking The Freshman.. and that's all that is popping into my head at the moment..
