Yes. My family is taking the boats out into the middle of the lake and watching them set off fireworks. It's really cool because it is like a boat city out there, with all the boats with their lights on and everything. Every time they let off some really good ones all the boats blow their horns. It's amazing.

No. Same reason I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, Columbus Day, or any other such holidays. I'm militant and contrary.
