You know, people shouldn't assume that just because he was an awesome professional wrestler, and was liked by so many people that he couldn't kill anyone. Investigators are saying it was most likely him, and I'll believe them over some crazed fan. Afterall, that is what they get paid to do, and that is why they go to college, to investigate and find the truth out. There's a lot of people who are crazy, psychotic killers that nobody would think would even harm a fly.
Afterall, did you people forget when Nancy filed for a divorce in 2003 for 'cruel treatment'? Did you even know about that? Or are you just too stuck in denial?
Oh.. and by the way, since there were no signs of a struggle, I'm sure the murderer just talked Benoit into hanging himself'. Did you people in denial forget about that too?

Okay, so if he couldn't live without his wife or son, then why didn't he just choose to be shot (the quick and painless way) rather then hang himself? I mean, if I had the choice to be shot or hang myself after my family has just been murdered, I'd rather be shot. There would be less questions asked that way, and it wouldn't look like I was the murderer. And there was no sign of a struggle. Come on, if I was as big as Chris Benoit and someone wanted to kill me or my family, there'd be a struggle. Besides what kind of outside murderer would kill a family over a period of a couple of days? Don't you think there would have been something done after the first murder? Geez, people...

People tend to look at the persona of Chris Benoit and think they know him. They forget that what they see on tv and in the arenas is nothing but acting. They don't have any idea what kind of real man he is/was, unless they personally knew him. I haven't heard one single soul who knew him outside the ring come forward and say that they know beyond any doubt that he couldn't have done this. In fact, they have only talked to one 'friend' of Chris' that I know of and he didn't really say much except the normal 'he was a good guy', 'he was quiet', things like that. You have to learn to separate fiction from reality. Do you really think Al Pacino is a Godfather, lol?

if the person was a trusted individual - he could have gotten in the house - invited, and while having a beer with Chris - slip him a mickey or two - knock him out while they are in the cellar.
then the perpetrator could go up - overpower nancy - kill her - and then later kill the kid when he tried to find his mom and dad.
Benoit may have ben under control of the drug when making the voice calls - would fit with the odd speech that people claim he had - and story.
It would also make it easy for the perpetrator to string him up and kill Chris.
For all you haters - you need to back off until all the information is in.
There are too many errant incidents and facts that are not adding up to a murder-suicide.
The Associated Press is doing their damndest to hang Benoit - even blatantly twisting and changing timelines given by the investigators.
According to the investigators, Benoit was dead by late Saturday or just past midnight Sunday. Not late Sunday as the AP has tried to state.
Now - if what the investigators say is true - then Chris could not be the one that sent any of the text messages - and he was dead almost a day before the Wikipedia thing was posted.
And he couldn't have posted it from Stamford CT which is where the IP is leading to, coincidently - where the WWE is headquartered.
Now - even the WWE's release of text messages is contrary to what the investigators released. According to the investigators, only TWO messages were sent - one to two co-workers stating the wife and son were ill and they were going to the hospital, the other one to the neighbor's phone stating the dogs were in the pool area and side garage door is open.
The WWE states things quite differently and that there were five - however they came from Chris and Nancy's phones.
Here's a really bothersome deal - why did these co-workers - one being a WWE official - wait to show these to the WWE management and officials 27 hours?
Well - imagine if the bodies had been found on Sunday afternoon rather than Monday. The WWE would have been out millions for canceling the PPV.
Something is rotten here - hugely - and someone or someones perpetrated a triple murder and set Benoit up to devastate his career - family, and had tried to get someone in there earlier than what had happened, so that they could damage the WWE as well.
I believe Kevin Sullivan is involved - would not put it past him to hire someone to make it happen with some inside help at WWE. Sullivan never forgave Nancy and Chris.
Be interesting to see the results on the Sherri Martel death - one that can't be dismissed as natural by authorities. I am wondering if she wasn't a trial run in the deal - considering her tie to the Benoits and Sullivan

Hey,
Its very illogical of you to say that Chris just hanged himself, he could have easily been drugged.
I believe that Chris was set up, by one of his many enemies in the WWE. Any one that is able to function rationally in life on a daily basis is not going to kill their seven year old son, whom he/she raised from a baby. I believe that it is impossible for a man to raise a child for seven years and then just take away that life. Parents give a lot to their kids, love affection, time, these are the things they are influenced by. All parents want their children to be some one, to enjoy life and be fulfilled.
Also:
It seems to me that if Chris didn't like his life he would of killed himself only. I don't think a rational homicidal individual get married, and creates a plan for the future, and then goes and kills his whole family.
Its like some one literary hated the entire family and was getting their revenge, and anger out, not just on Chris.
I think its a conspiracy, that will not so easily be solved.

and after his son and wife were murdered, he didnt care if he died, because he didnt want to live without them. he loved them so much, he thought there was no point in living without them, so he hung himself.
