I don't believe people want Iraq to be a safe haven for terrorist. Bush sent our people over there to overthrow Saddam, but I don't think they thought there were that many different sectors of people fighting among themselves. It is a real mess and it will take a miracle to stop it. We don't have the manpower to do it according to what I read in the media.
If you read the books by Brigget Gabriel, it will define the terrorist intentions. I believe that's her name. The terrorist are like Hitler, they want to conquer the world.Everyone needs to get on their knees and pray that somehow peace will come soon.

Why idiotic people like you ask questions?
Just name one terrorist group, or even just one terrorist coming from Iraq?
Look at the increased terrorism around the world. If is not happening in the USA, doesn't mean that is not happening in other COUNTRIES!
The War in Iraq has not put a dent in terrorist actions, on the contrary it has fueled it. READ real news, not the National Enquirer, if can't do that, just stick with your stupid news about Penis Hilton.

We went in there on a lie...
and now they are conjuring up more?
The militias in Iraq are not "terrorists".
They are warring factions vying for control of oil profits.
and if they can kill their "traditional" enemies in the process....so much the better.
Sunnis and Shiites are not like Republican and Democrat.
Their beef goes back 1200-1300 years.
They ain't gonna give up their weapons and dutifully line up at the polls.
We been trying to get Iraqi Army up and running for years.
they seem to be pretty handy with weapons.
So whats the holdup?
An Iraqi army ain't gonna happen either unless theres a whole bunch of AMERICANS within a short helicopter ride.
we gonna have troops there for long time to come.
unfortunately
thanks for nothing george

Your argument is analogous to a pro-lifer asking a pro-choicer why they're "pro-death," or a pro-choicer asking a pro-lifer why they're "anti-choice."
Let's not play games with semantics. No one who wants to see the Iraq war end wants it to end because they want Iraq to become a "safe haven for terrorists." Nobody would actually make this argument.
Before you can convince your opponent of the truth of your position (in this case, your position seems to be that the U.S. should maintain a presence in Iraq) you need to have a complete understanding of why your opponent believes what he does.
You seem to have an overly simplistic perception of the reasons some people don't support the war. "Because I want Iraq to be a safe haven for terrorists" is not usually one of them.

Amadinajad has pronounced as lots. He has instructed the international that u.s. is loosing its will to combat and could pull out quickly and Iran would be their to fill the void. We additionally understand what is going to happen to people who're deemed to have been sympathetic to the individuals, they are going to be dragged out into the streets and killed, only like after the 1st gulf conflict as quickly as we left after encouraging them to upward thrust up and combat Saddam. The conflict has been a considerable cock up, yet each little bit of information we are receiving from the two facets of the political spectrum is announcing that we are lastly on the upswing, to pass away now could reason irreparable injury. and people who say that they are worse off then earlier we cam have of course no longer observed the documents exhibiting that extra residences have electrical energy and working water then whilst Saddam replaced into in power. human beings nevertheless stay in concern, even in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it rather is getting extra valuable, and that they are no longer worried that by fact they lost a soccer journey that they are going to be crippled. Or that in the event that they do no longer gain a objective set for them at artwork that they are going to lose their existence. everybody concurs that we are to blame for the circumstances in Iraq precise now. So we've a duty to repair it. And if we don't only abandon them we only could desire to.

Because they now have a democratic government and the people are free.
Freedom and democracy is supposed to be what the war was about and now they have got it everything should be OK.
What's the problem.
Americans kill each other by the thousands every year and nobody complains.
