13: solve for y... y = (1/2)x - 1/2 slope =1/2
14: solve for y... y = (-2)x +3/2 slope = -1
15: (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)... (3-2)/(2-3) slope = -1
19: (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)... (-3 - 4)/(4 - -1) slope = -7/5
20: slope, m = -7/5. solve for b, by plugging in a point.
y = mx + b... -3 = (-7/5)(4) + b or 4 = (-7/5)(-1) +b
either way b = 13/5. therefore... y = (-7/5)x + 13/5
21 parallel lines have the same slope.
solve for y... y = (1/3)x +2/3,
therefore slope fo that line is 1/3

y=mx+b

13.
x-2y=1/2
y=1/2x-1/4
m=1/2

14.
2x+2y=3
y=-x+1.5
m=-1

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)=slope

15.
(2-3)/(3-2)=-1

19.
(4-(-3))/(-1-4)=(-7/5)

20.
m=(-7/5)
y=(-7/5)x+b
(4,-3)
-3=(-7/5)(4)+b
-3+(28/5)=b=13/5
y=(-7/5)x+(13/5)

21.
3y=x+2
y=(1/3)x+(2/3)
m=1/3
