"It's called "the moral high ground". If you tell the truth it is your duty to denounce the liar. If you don't steal it is your duty to denounce the thief. If you don't cheat on your lover or spouse it is your duty to dissaprove of the cheater. Is there really something WRONG with THAT? The world is better off with those who don't lie, steal and cheat. It's best to point that out and feel good about it. Any questions?:... "

Your missing it badly moral high ground is putting down a behavior not a person when you put down any other human being spitefully hurt them or use them or mistreat them for any reason you are just as bad as any of the things you have mentioned. Any questions about that? So when you call of ho ho then think blow blow and know that is what you are a blow hard that thinks you are better then another when your not

Super Kitten,

I hardly answer any question seriously. But let me try this one. (This is purely my opinion.)

Your question is obviously very easy to answer. If there is someone who is morally pure...then yes, he/she does have the right to point out the fault in others. If I see God right now appearing in front of me and tell me that I am so stupid for doing this or doing that, I would still bow down and praise him despite his insults to me. For the morally pure does not insult but tells the truth; it just happens that the truth sometimes hurts.

However, I think the gist of your question is not what gives the right, but are you morally pure?????

I am not sure if moral purity exists. Morality in this physical world is relative. For example, long ago, during the time of Henry 8th, Henry had to marry his brother's wife after his brother's death. That was the accepted standard and the duty of a man to his brother's widow. Or...girls used to get married as young as 12 in some countries. .....Nowaday, try to get married to a 12 year old, and you might just end up in jail..Stealing is generally wrong, yet Robinhood is a hero. Therefore, morality is relative to a person's opinion, culture and society. What's right to you just might be wrong to someone's else. So, being morally pure is probably an illusion or an opinion in most cases.

So.....

Nothing. I'm just not very good at being supportive without seeming condemning at times. I'm really working hard on that. It is my biggest flaw I am trying to polish. Because I don't think I'm so pure and mostly I have compliments to others, but, I try, and that's all I can do. And learn to respect all and never forget that without recognizing my flaws, I can never be better.

See what I mean? That could even sound condescending to some people even though I truly mean it honestly.

I've got more work to do.

I personally think that nobody has a right to put others down. Now there's a difference between putting someone down and stopping someone who is being overly arrogant or immoral. There really is no excuse at all for anybody to put down someone else.

no one is morally pure and everyone has a right to their opinion but it is good manners not to put ppl down unless they verbally attack you first.
