Both! I have three cats and one dog. For the longest time I only had cats, but once I had a dog I realized what I was missing out on. Cats are great because they are independent, and for a cat to show you affection is a real treat because it has to be their idea. I also find cats to be comforting, and enjoy the beauty that they add to my surroundings. I love the soothing effect that their purring has on me. On the other hand, my dog is a tired and true friend, and always there for me no matter what. This is great, but it can be a problem when you have to leave 'em home for awhile. One needs a lot of space and time to enjoy a dog, but a cat you can have a small space and be away and still have a content feline. As you can see I have love for them both...you seem like a dog person based on your pic, but I hope that you have seen that cats can be cool too.

well i love dogs but i love cats too. you see i never really had normal pets. my cat was like a dog and when i got a dog my cat taught my dog everything she knew about being a cat. so my dog became a cat. both pets had many attributes of the other pet. i always thought that i was a dog person but it was because i had always had a cat. well i guess what i am trying to say is that i like both of them equally.

Both! I own 2 dogs .. but I volunteer at a Cat shelter.
Can't have cats since my sister is allergic .. and unfortionatly .. I dont have enough money to move out and my college doesnt have dorms!
But I still get the best of both.

Dog person. Have 1 at home. Miniature Schnauzer. His name is Koko. That is the right spelling, because it's the Japanese way to spell his name.

i like dogs more cause they tend to be more friendly and lovable...but cats are easier to take care of....i had dogs growing up as a kid but i own a cat now...
i guess i'm more a dog person
