Texas England - floods Pakistan India - floods -
Greece and Europe - heat waves
-------------------
Severe and unprecedented weather - all over the world - it seems and all at once -
Maybe Mother nature has had enough of us
Any idea's what may be behind all of this Or is it just a bucnch of bad luck coincindences that need not be looked at as a pattern - but just bad luck coincidences ?

Yes and we should be
But certain persons wish to cloud the issues with an argument of cause that they hope will stop action - which is ridiulous - but look around - it is working
They distract people with the Sun the CO2 the this the that AND NO ONE is building alternate fuels and secureing water and food - They just debate cause
They muddy the waters when the truth of observation is well obvious - and the status quo continues -
Oil pollution and so on - just keeps rolling along The argument over cause must end and the discussion of how we are going to deal with it must begin

No matter what, some people still won't believe in global warming. Yes, the weather has always been so, well, extreme, but for the past 2 - 3 decades, Halloween is colder than Christmas; May is colder than January, and so on. By the time most people wake up, it will be just too late.

It's global warming. They've proved it pretty thoroughly to me. People act like it's some natural thing, and though it is true that extreme climate changes have occurred in the past, it's been proven that this one is mostly due to our own behavior.
"Average global temperature has increased by almost 1ºF over the past century; scientists expect the average global temperature to increase an additional 2 to 6ºF over the next one hundred years. This may not sound like much, but it could change the Earth's climate as never before. At the peak of the last ice age (18,000 years ago), the temperature was only 7ºF colder than it is today, and glaciers covered much of North America!" http://epa.gov/climatechange/kids/bigdeal.html
This site and interactive map shows some effects of global warming: http://www.climatehotmap.org/
"In its 2001 report, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change stated, "There is new and stronger evidence that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities." [3] Carbon dioxide from fossil fuel burning and land clearing has been accumulating in the atmosphere, where it acts like a blanket keeping Earth warm and heating up the surface, ocean, and atmosphere. As a result, current levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere are higher than at any time during the last 650,000 years." http://www.ucsusa.org/global_warming/science/Fingerprints.html
I recommend watching "An Inconvenient Truth". Though loaded with political remarks from a rather bitter Al Gore, it is very informative.

My idea is that people are simply over-reacting now. Go look back through history and note all the 'natural' disasters that occurred throughout young america and the rest of the world. In my opinion we're simply hearing about what happens sooner, and therefore it seems like the world is coming to an end, when actually it's just a stormy time of year.

its called weather. it changes.
look up a period called the little ice age. Severe weather pattern changes that occurred suddenly and long before the industrial revolution.
see people forget the planet is a living thing, it breathes, it moves and it alters it's self all the time. to expect it to be static just shows how ignorant people are about the planet and it's history.

trout, trout, trout, can you go back through history over the past 1,000 years and find anytime in history where there have not been weather driven abnormalities? for at least 5 years in a row. I know that hurricanes have been kind of rare in the last 18 -24 months but hey, other weather happens.
