It depends on what your dreams are, I guess. If you're dreams are of taking over the world, that might not be a good idea. If your dreams are to be an inventor, they should of course support you. In other words, should your dreams cause harm to others, your family should try to deter you. Should your dreams not cause any harm to anyone, they should absolutely support you!
