Hitler didn't "sneak his way into power".
He was, if nothing else, so "up-front" and "in-your-face" about his intentions, no German could say "they didn't know" what he was going to do.
Hitler spent about 18 months in Landsberg prison in 1923-'24 ( after being arrested and convicted for his part in the "Beer Hall Putch") writing "Mein Kampf" and in that book he detailed EVERY move he subsequently made when he came to power: the need for "lebensraum" (living space), or lands to the east that would have to be taken from the Russians, his intention to eliminate all "inferior" races from the Germanic Empire (Reich), etc.
Remember, "Mein Kampf" came out TWELVE years before Hitler officially took power in the Bundestag ( German Parliament) so every German, whether Christian, Jew, Gypsy, homosexual, communist, etc. had ample warning of his goals. . . . and either applauded him as a Messiah (as the "Aryan" Germans did) or ignored and refused to believe him ( as so many Jews, Catholics, communists, homosexuals, gypsies, etc. did).
What brought Hitler to power was the state of the German people after WW I and the viciously retaliatory terms of the "Treaty of Versailles" that drove the Germans into poverty and humiliation. Hitler promised them that he would return them to the status of the earlier Germanic Empires, notably that of Hermann (Arminius) who defeated three Roman Legions in the year 9 A.D. and broke the advance of Roman military might in Germany.
The thing that he promised them was a return of their "self-respect" and their "national pride" and, with the Germans state and people in shambles after the WW I, that was the spark that ignited the Nazis sweep to political power in 1936.
We can see EXACTLY the same mentality and political methods at work with Iran's Ahmedinijad and Venezula's Hugo Chaves as well as other leaders in the Mulsim world today.
In 1924, in "Mein Kampf", we saw the blueprint for the horrors and devastation of the Second World War. Today we have exactly the same blueprint in the Koran . . . . and who's taking that threat seriously except the Israelis ( who have already experienced the inevitable outcome of ignoring the warning signs of a genocidal political/religious movement )???
Think about it . . . . . .

He was elected Chancellor,he didn't sneak anywhere. He gave a people hope for their future, free from foreign interference. The economy was a shambles, manipulated and controlled by powerful business people who had more interest in filling their own coffers rather than helping the German people, the economy and the country. There were many problems in Germany at that time and Hitler promised that he would solve the problems which he did,but in a way that outraged many. Some people did object to the little corporal from Austria but they were quickly silenced, one way or another.

He was a sociopath who charmed his way to the top and persuaded his followers to blow up the Reichstag and blame it on everyone else.
Dick Cheney, as his 2nd degree student (via Leo Struass) essentially took the same path to the Vice Presidency. Unlike Hitler, Cheney's weak heart prevents him from becoming America's Fuhrer.

there are a lot of reasons he was able to, the country was in shambles from WW1, he was a soldier there when he was young and it really affected him... he had beer clubs or whatever they called them, where he would take over a tavern or bar and buy everyone drinks and preach about stuff ect... he wrote a book too, and so on and so on there were many things he did to trick the germans, and honestly they were looking for something to rally behind and were vulnerable to suggestion... he gave them someone and something to blame and something to hope for, albeit screwed up... thats waht happened

He did not "sneak in" as you state. He was elected as you will see if you even take a small look at the links above.
I have done lots of reasearch on him and find him to be an intresting person. What really drives a preson to do things like he did. Its is happening in parts of the word even today, maybe not to the extreem he took it too but it happens.

the man was a mass hypnotizer, he could talk his way into anything. There are many leaders, even in 2007 , that can lead his country into war when the people complain
