You certainly drew a different conclusion than I did after reading your link. Surely you don't have a problem with trying to protect the oil production in Africa from Islamic extremists? With the Middle East in such turmoil and instability - don't you think it is in our best interest to ensure that our other suppliers are protected from Islamic terrorists?
I think that this policy is just plain common sense.
