As with the previous answerer, you need to be a little more specific. The events that are tied to the phases of the moon are:
Solar Eclipse - New Moon
Lunar Eclipse - Full Moon
Spring Tides - New or Full Moon
Neap Tides - First or Last Quarter

Beyond these, there are several other events on religious calenders that are associated to the phases of the moon. The Jewish calender is entirely based on the moon, and the Christian holiday of Easter is indirectly based on the phase of the moon also (it is based on the occurrance of Passover, which is based on the phase of the moon).

Please be more specific, if you can. Moon phases are pretty darn regular, and usually nothing special happens during a "phase" other than an eclipse.
