My neighborhood was built in the 40s and 50 but has fill in houses that are newer. Now it has apartment complexes, low income housing and townhouses. Some of the small 2 bedroom houses are poor people. Many of the people have been here since their homes were built. I have a large yard with 4 other homes around me, we are white and a single man is white, a couple and her parents are Chinese, a single man is black and a family is Mexican. I met a lady in front of my house from El Salvadore and her boyfriend from Guatemala and their son an American. But we all get along good neighbors. I gave the lady from El Salvatore some plants for her yard and we exchanged phone number she lives up the street. We have a community garden in front of my house, so people stop and talk very friendly.

I lived in a neighborhood for a decade that was religiously and ethnically diverse. There were and still are Jews, Mormons, Baptists, atheists, Jehovah's Witnesses, and Lutherans living there (Cleveland Heights, OH.) My neighbors were Italian, Jewish, Polish, Armenian, African American, etc. The neighboring community, University Heights, was equally diverse. I am now retired and have moved to a rural area about 60 miles away and visit my friends there at least once a month. Cleveland Heights and University Heights have been and remain great places to live.

Live in a predominately black neighborhood with 1 Mexican family on the block. Not so diverse, never was, because 40 years ago it used to be a predominately Italian neighborhood.

I pretty sure there are white people that live around here. But I only see Black people when I am outside. But its not very diverse. Just Black and white.

When I lived in DC there were El salvadorian, Dominicans, Pakistani, Indians, Afhgans, Koreans, Somalians, and Ethiopians all living on the same block

Yes there are some military, retired military, couple of cops, a firefighter, couple of teachers and a few buisness owners. EVERYONE has a job, there are no "gov give away" units in our community.
