I know that there is no bond between the asian manicurist and the blak customer, I know many many shop owners, and manicurists, over the last 20 years, and they HATE blak customers. some of the reasons are blak customers will look for the smallest imperfection as an excuse not to pay, they have had many blaks just walk out without paying, all their bounced checks were from blaks. they are extremely difficult, it takes twice as long to do a fullset for blaks. a little game the manicurist play is "avoid the blak", if a blak customer walks in, the manicurists slow down on their client or offer to do extra's for free so they don't have to take the blak cust. nobody wants to open a shop in a blak area. the poor women are intimdated so they have to take it.
it's all because blak women have sociopathic personalities and feel no shame in walking all over these asian women or taking advantage of them.
a lot of people won't like reading this, but it is the truth and it's not fair for these women

I suppose it's possible. Although I'm inclined to think that it depends upon the particular individuals, the location, the environment- all the things that factor into how and why people think, act, and feel the way they do. But I'm not speaking from any kind of experience whatsoever. I never visit the majority-Asian shops. (Never visit the majority-white shops either for that matter.) I'm not being negative towards anyone- I would just rather that black women take care of me, because they always know what I'm talking about. Every time I've tried to explain what I want to whites, Asians, or anyone else other than blacks, they've gotten confused and wanted me to look at pictures so I could show them what I was referring to. I find it to be quite irritating, so I go to black women. I'm definitely NOT stereotyping. What I've discribed applies to where I live. That being said, I can't offer any observations.

no...nothing special...their just really good business people...they do a GREAT job in the least amount of time. they will talk about you in a language you don't understand, but they do a GREAT job, in half the time of a spa or hair salon. they remember what you want and they aim to please.

this is going to sound really horribly politically incorrect, but it's my personal experience:

i would love to frequent the shops where my black sista's work, but i can't fix my mouth to call another grown woman "miss pooh-pooh" or "tasty-t" without lmao. when i tell you what color i want my nails and what design, i don't want a pre-madonna, veteran nail tech telling me that she "don't do nobody else's designs" and that she "chooses what color"....wtf?

i don't want to sit thru this weeks installment of ghetto theatre hearing who got shot, or who pregnant with who's baby, or who's cheating and why. who cares. i want my nails done and then i want to leave, cause some people outside are eyeing my mini-van like they want the stereo and dealer-issue hub-caps.

i don't want to sit two hours WAITING, then another two hours getting a 'full-set, french manicure' that the Asian shop workers can do in 45 minutes with no wait time. not to mention that the Asian shops aren't locked from the inside-out because their in a 'hood where they've been robbed twice in the last month. i don't want to buy delray's pirated DVD's, and i don't want any fake eye-lashes....i don't want anything from Coney Island, and i don't want cartoon charaters or moving mechanisms on my nails....just shut up and do my french manicure......

no b.s.....true story.....
