dimming their lights on there car meant stepping on the floor switch left of the floor board and not something on the steering column ?

Well I'm 42 and I don't consider myself an old timer but it seems like a lot of teens on here so on here I feel like one...going back 20 to 30 years is a long time for some when you are only 20 years old .

hey! who you calling old? :) i also remember paying $.28/gallon for gas...when $4 would run my VW Bug for a week...cigarettes at $.35 a pack...Coke machines for a nickel...penny candy that actually cost a penny...free air at the gas station and i'm only 53

Yes I do, it was an FJ Holden ( I am an Aussie ), But I don't like the idea of being referred to as an old timer, I am only old in birthdays, mentally I'm only a teenager.
