Sure I fondle my melons, and I fondle the cucumbers and zucchini too. Sometimes I have the grocery guy fondle my melons, so I can make sure I get a ripe one...lol...

Not really fondle. Just a wee push and pull to stop them sticking to my belly like thay are now when I am in my PJs. Nuisance things.

Yes but only by gently pressing at the stalk end and opposite to see if it gives a little. If it does, I buy it.
