i'm REALLY shy around new people and people who intimidate me, lol. but around my friends i'm as social as can be. i become hyper and start doing the most random stuff, it's really quite entertaining! and around younger people i'm also social because i feel it's my obligation to be "the leader." older people i'm scared of though.

It depends on the situation I'm in; I'm shy sometimes and very social the next. If I don't feel comfortable in a situation, say, going to a party where I don't know many people, I'd be sort of shy. But when I'm with known and trusted friends, very very social!

Basically I'm shy - but no one believes me. I have a way of coming across where I seem really confident and comfortable with myself - especially in work related situations. However, I haven't the confidence to go out in social situations such as my friends wedding last week. I made it to the church, but couldn't get to the evening reception as I was far too uncomfortable with the whole 'seeing' people thing.

Shy until I get to know you then I begin to talk a bit more once I see that you a willing to listen I am more social...smiles

In the right setting I am very social. New people/situations I am extremely shy. I think maybe I am bipolar in that regard.
