Processor upgrade options:
Athlon64 3500+ or 3800+ (Venice)
Athlon64 X2 3800+, 4200+, 4600+ (Manchester)
Graphics card upgrade:
Cheap option - 7300GS
Better options - 7300GT ddr3 or 7600GT
Up to date option - 8600GT
If you just want to improve gaming performance, make sure you have at least 1Gb RAM, then install a good graphics card. You could also consider overclocking your Sempron to 2.0 or 2.2Ghz. W/ good cooling and just at stock voltages, there's nothing to worry about.
