I think that somewhere in the back of your mind there is this fear that one has they may never see the person again. There is the fact that saying goodbye is changing the relationship and what once was will no longer be. Maybe it has more to do with the change than anything else. I have a hard time saying goodbye. Feelings are very difficult to figure out.

Saying goodbye is so hard because endings are so unnatural. For instance, at the end of a good movie doesn't the ending just often feel wrong no matter what?

becuz u wanna spend more time with the one special person that means so much to u but u know u can't becuz time is up, and also that u blew it, and i mean everything when u HAD THE CHANCE TO TELL HIM HOW U FELT but u chickened out and didn't, becuz ur stupid and u have no life. becuz he doesnt know, and u want him to know, desperately, so thats why u try ur best to do everything to show him how u feel, but u can't becuz u have to say *goodbye* which is so hard, becuz u care about him so much. and just becuz, its too early to say *goodbye*

Because you are separating from somebody that you usually love or care about, and you know that you won't see them for a while or ever again.

you tend to love something and deepen a relationship with it/him/her and you get more attached that is why it is hard to say goodbye.
