im going to be 9th grade when i start there. its really frustrating a little since im really comfortable with where i live right now, its really difficult leaving, i also dislike the fact that i need to be a freshman. again....since the first year here is considered as 8th grade there...i cant believe i'll be studying an additional year! well im really shy when i meet new people, and somehow get in trouble when im at school, since i tend to doze off from the lectures.i also tend to talk a lot if im forced to make friends with others, i think they think im annoying that way. but im nervous. so can anyone tell me what i should do to fit in?

So, your problem isn't being Asian, it's being anxious when you meet new people. Try reading a book called, "How to Make Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. It will be at the local library. It's one of the best-selling books ever in the history of the world. It will help you a lot. You can also read, "Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens" which will help you about being a good listener, studying and deciding what you want to do.
