I think Javaris Crittenton is like a Acie Law IV type of guy.
He can shoot, but he needs to improve his passing skills, he has the experience but he doesn't have that much high of a basketball IQ.
I think Marc Gasol will be a fit for Tex Winter's T.O.
He is very good in rebounding and needs more consistency on shooting.
Sun Yue is a guy that needs more experience, so we will see him in the bench for about a long time.
I think what the Lakers needed is Josh McRoberts.
He is very versatile, can shoot, pass, rebound, block, steal.
I don't know why they did not draft him.
I think that GM Kupcake could do more better with the draft picks, but as usual, he didn't.
Well, i didn't doubt for a second that the picks of the Lakers would be as good as the Knicks or the Warriors or the Bobcats, not with Kupcake running around (the worst GM ever, he needs to murder his family and commit suicide, lol, jk)

Personally, I think with the oppertunities given to them I think they did a fine job. The problem is that we Laker fans are becoming all too critical of every move. How many of you knew of Javaris Crittenton before this draft? The answer to that question is most likely that you did not. You can not comment on him and say if it was a good thing or a bad thing on him just because you listen to Stephen A. Smith or Marc Jackson. I will also be the first to admit i know nothing about Sun Yue so I can not comment on him either as I think none of us should. Finally there was Marc Gasol. I did indeed follow him and I think he was a steal at the 48 pick. He is one of those second round picks with a lot of potential. In my opinion I feel that he can be as good as Pau if given the oppertunity. It might not be so bad if the Lakers gave up Bynum because Marc is someone that I believe has more potential then Bynum. I dont know about all of you but I wouldnt be upset if Bynum left. The one I would be upset with leaving is LO. Lamar Odom brings that passion to everygame which is something you guys may not pay attention to. Whether down 2 or 22 he is still out there playing his heart out and I just dont see that from any other players. I hope Lamar stays. I would give up Bynum in a second as he is an underachieving joke that is not worth anything.
I think us as Laker fans though need to give Mitch a chance and see what he is doing. If you really think about it the Lakers last year would have had a very good record had it not been for the injuries. With three starters out for a great deal of the season you can not expect to be anything decent. I think the Lakers are not a superstar away but maybe a veteran away or even a Papaloukas away. I think it would be big if we got him in our locker room. Lets give the Lakers a chance and lets stop being so damn critical.

I'm not sure about Crittenton (for sure not an instant impact player being that he would be a sophomore next year).
Sun Yue- i heard is a big guard so that makes sense and i like that he was an ABA all-star and is familiar with American culture.
They picked Pau Gasol's brother (Marc) with the 48th pick.
Overall- nothing impressive-- i was hoping that Nick Young would fall to them or Thaddeus Young.
Today's draft means very little- hopefully they'll make a couple of big moves before training camp starts.
Kindly,
Nickster

I don't like them...at all. They don't need another young point guard. They already have Jordan Farmar. They should have drafted Josh McRoberts. They need a more methodical, passing post player to go with their raw athleticism and a sure backup at power forward if a big trade goes down.
Sun Yue and Marc Gasol are useless and will be sent to the D-league.

Javaris was a good pick.. they really needed a PG and Crittenton will fit in the triangle. Sun Yue will probably be left in China for a while to develop.
They still need to execute a blockbuster deal that will land them another superstar like KG, JO, or Artest.
edit: and they land Pau Gasol's brother Marc. Maybe Marc will be left in Spain also.

Crittenton is good choice but they made a boo boo with this chinese guard...their second pick should have been Marc Gasol...which leads me to believe Lakers might be in position to deal Odom and Bynum to Indiana for Jermaine O'Neil...and they might be in pursuit to acquire Pao Gasol, no chance for KG....and for Kobe?

Awful. Why would you get another PG after getting Farmar the year before. And Sun Yue? He's going to be a bust. Especially when he sits the next 5 years behind Kobe, who won't be traded.

all of us has to have a leaping on element. For me, i began out following the Dodgers in 1959, the Rams in 1963, the Lakers in 1965, and the USC Trojans in 1969. by using stable cases and undesirable cases, those have been and could stay my communities; for this reason i do no longer evaluate myself a bandwagon fan whilst my communities win. do no longer pay attention to the haters whilst they commence conversing that bandwagon nonsense. all of us is evidently resentful of the success of others. success finally ends up in jealously. manage for what that's. My element is to assist your team, win or lose.

Three PGs in 2 years isn't a good sign but whatever.

They draft another pg. A chinese sg whose weakness is poor shooting, and probably the best pick was their last pick. Pau brother.
