Homonyms, but for me, ferry and fairy don't sound the same.

they are homophones. antonym and synonym's have to do with spelling and homophones have to do with the sounds.
examples:
pear-pair
air-heir
fair-fare

they are called "homophones"... words that are spelled differently but sound the same... or spelled the same with different meanings...
