it fine to say that "you" would never have an abortion but what makes it okay and acceptable for one person to judge another person for having one it's a choice a personal choice and if it's not your life and it does not effect why are certain individuals so conserned. Is it really a better choice to have a baby when circumstances are bad and that child is coming into the world when it going to sufer and go through needs or is the mature choice of an adult to realize this and make the choice of not brining a life inot this world when she/he knows that is not the best decsion. And to everyone that is going to say then don't get preganant keep ur legs closed or use protection be realistic stuff happens and if everything was planned this world would then be perfect and not have closed minded people.

You ask, "Why are so many people against abortions?"

Because we don't like to see an innocent, defenseless, unprotected baby get murdered. We're just funny that way.

Yes it's a woman's body. But she CHOSE to have sex with that body, knowing that she could get pregnant. She should have been pro-choice before she had sex. The correct "choice" would have been to say "no" and keep her legs closed. Why is that so difficult? Is it really easier to kill your unborn baby than it is to abstain from sex?

ALL life is precious...from conception until natural death.

Pregnancy is proof that someone's had sex. This bothers a lot of people. It took two people to start the pregnancy, but the entire burden falls on the woman. Most abortions are performed in the first trimester, when you are talking about an incredibly tiny organism that is not capable of life outside the womb. If this is the same as a fully-developed baby who's been born, then scrambled eggs are exactly the same as fried chicken.
I've never had an abortion and have two children who were very much wanted and are very much loved. I don't presume to tell any other woman what she should or should not do. That, right there, is a major difference: pro-choice people do not want to force anyone to have an abortion. The anti-choice folks want to force women to carry a baby to term--after that, they don't much seem to care what happens to her or the baby because these people are the world's biggest hypocrites.
There's a Planned Parenthood office I pass by rather frequently. There is this really old guy with a beard who pickets there every weekend, holding up grisly photos of dead babies--practically full-term babies whom he is exploiting for his purposes. I look at him and wonder: when's the last time he was pregnant? He knows nothing about it; he doesn't know what it's like to sweat out a late period.
When's the last time he had sex, for that matter? And, did he use birth control every time, back in his younger days? Probably not; he's probably a devout Catholic. And, by the way, how many crack-addicted, mentally or physically disabled children has he adopted?
So where does this old geezer get off trying to control the lives of young women?

First, because it truly is the murder of an innocent child. That alone should be enough.

And why stop at killing an unborn child from being born into bad circumstances? Why not kill children who are born in the same circumstances? Why not kill 2 and 3 and 4 year olds as well in those circumstances? That might sound stupid but it's a valid question. The children still belong to the woman. Why does it make a difference if the child is in or out of the womb?

Also, and I do not condone abortion at all, but do you know how many women have 2, 3, 6 abortions? The number is staggering!!

Well lets think about all of the options to not get pregnant... now if it would to happen their is the morning after pill and then finally the other thing would be that adoption has such a waiting list it is not funny.... and sadly with modern medicine not every woman can produce a child.

Many people view it as a moral issue. A child contains all of the essence of its humanity from conception on. But the moralists ignore the fact that the fetus is totally dependent on the mother for many months, and cannot have legal rights in opposition to the mother. A compromise is necessary, and that laid down in Roe v. Wade was appropriate at the time -- and still is.

Because it's MURDER!!!!!!!! Can you tell what will happen tomorrow???? I believe not, therefore you cannot determine who will come and suffer and who won't.

Have you very noticed how life has a way of changing circumstances? Some times we meet people who had some rough childhood, but haven't you seen them at the top of the ladder. I have heard of many and have come to know many in my country and all over the world. Who cannot give life should not take it.

Only because they would never do it...
Because they have never been in a situation....
No one like to think that they would make that choice...

It's such a great feeling to tell someone they are wrong!

I am Pro-Life... the Life at stake of the one that is here, it will be the only effected by the one that may or may not be. Only each one of Us knows what can or can't handle... no one else.

Cuz its wrong!!! I don't care if u don't want the kid then just put it up for adoption....that is the mature thing to do and anyone who would put there kid up for adoption cuz they can't raise them is a very thoughtful and giving person in my book! But to have an abortion and take life away from that child honestly its worse that killing someone!

why are so many people against murder? it is fine to say that you would never kill any one, but what makes it OK for one person to judge another. It is a personal choice and if you are not the one committing the murder it does not effect you.

When something is wrong and evil people will be against it.

I think it's like anything else. You don't know what you'd do until your in that situation. I think it would be hard for me to know that I was killing a baby.. so I don't think I could do it. But, I'm not here to judge the ones who have. I know people are given the freedom to choose.. and sometimes people choose wrong. That's what makes us human.
