I have heard that if say, you break a rib it is possible that it can puncture your lung, i guess this would deflate it and you not be able to breather, so therefore you would slowly die if hospital help was not recieved quickly.
Has anyone ever punctured their lung (but obviouslt not dies lol) or know what it would feel like, and how long it would be before you died?
Any answers would help!

BTW: this hasn't happend to me.

3] you wouldn't necessarily die slowly, and how quickly would depend on
a] size of hole
b] any other injuries
c] shock
d] pre-existing conditions [ heart, liver, kidney, or lung disease ]
