The question at hand wasn't, "What's wrong with being gay", there's nothing wrong with being gay if you don't believe in what the bible says. To each his own. You can argue all you want about whether homesexuality is right or wrong, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

The question at had was about gay marriage. The answer, coming from someone who is religious, but see's the other side is everything. The institution of marriage is a religious term, and practice. So if somebody's religion says homosexuality is wrong, then obviously the act of marriage is wrong since it's owned by religion. Now the civil act of marriage, ie tax breaks and other special benefits are a civil thing. There's nothing wrong with a civil union or a civil marriage between those of the same sex unless our government outlaws it. See where I'm coming from, religiously it's wrong, but civilly it isn't. The government shouldn't even be in the practice of religious affairs.

Another interesting point if you study history is that the first Roman empiror that was christian instituted tax breaks for married couples too. Absolutely Nothing is wrong with Gay Marriage, now I'm pretty young so you might think I know much about with subject, but I do. Just because 2 people are of the same sex, does not mean that theirs something wrong with them, and George Bush is just an ***-hole who can't take change, I'm Canadian so I don't have to worry, but still. If they love each other, why stop them from loving each other, my aunt is lesbian, and she is still a wonderful person, so its not like if you become gay, you'll turn into someone different. So ya, nothing wrong, lol.

There is nothing wrong with it. People are just afraid of what they know nothing about and try to use the bible to justify it. If people were to follow the exact words of the bible like they claim to, than people who get divorced would be murdered, we would still have slavery, and women would still be considered property.

Nothing. Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with gay marriage. Furthermore, if someone had a penchant for a moose, as long as they and the moose were happy, I see no harm in it.
