With Ray Allen unloaded and a possibility of losing Rashard Lewis to free agency, Durant finds himself the main man of Seattle. If he don't stumble against the pressure and hurt himself, in my opinion, he would have a better rookie season than Oden. For Oden he would have lots of help especially since the New York trade (Frye and Francis) which is good he would have a good offensive guard by his side and an additional rebounding muscle. He would have plenty of help where it would be hard to stand out. Which is entirely different in Durant's way of things. Other than that, its the players performance themselves who would dictate which path would be better.

Oden will be more dominant and he will be able to play right away but I think Durant will be a great player over time. It may take Durant a few years to put it all together. I'll say Oden is a better player right now

It is all a crap shoot. Greg Oden MAY be the next Tim Duncan. Kevin Durant MAY be the next LeBron James. You still need to build a team around each for each to reach their full potential.

oden has the potential to be good but not great and Durant is still just raw talent but I think he has the potential to be great
