it's relative to have sex with the wife, but your friend no was specific wich wife, then he can to refer to any woman (wife) your wife, his wife, any wife.
if he was say "cojiendo a mi esposa" is about to his wife
if he was say "cojiendo a tu esposa" he is talking about you wife.
if he was say "cojiendo a su esposa" the he refers to wife of other man.
really i's a not apropiate sentece, it's agressive for someone.
I'm only speak spanish (I live on Guadalajara) for that my Enghish it's not o.k.

That is wrong mexican expression with relation to "make love to my wife" but in Spanish coger means get something or when we are talking about animal the male coge to female (the male doge make love the female dog) The correct (but rude ) expression is "Me culeo a la esposa"
