i think that only a number of the those that declare to have immigrated from Africa easily got here from Africa. the 1st element that comes into my thoughts once I hear the words african-american is the guy is a "LIAR". No the youngster born to a caucasion from South Africa (or the different area of Africa) and a caucasion from Mississippi or the different state would not be seen to be an african-american. That time era looks to easily be used via human beings whose dermis colour occurs to be black. the youngster on your representation would not be eligible for any of the advantages which you point out. What different team of folk insists on being ashamed to call themselves individuals?

That makes you white. Why not call British people that are citizens of America, British American, or Australians, Australian American. You sound silly. Why would they make that many ethnicity's to chose from on standard applications or test? All of those people are WHITE just from different countries. Just like a white person born in Africa is WHITE, they're just born in that country, there is nothing different. Unless that child is mixed with a native African.

You're American...that's where your citizenship would be (unless you get African citizenship in which case you would be African)...But just so you know, there are a lot of white people in Africa that were born there...South Africa...apartheid...

EDIT: Cody C, I mention apartheid because this is what most people associate the white people in Africa with.

NO....you are American with dual citizenship which you have to choose upon your 21st birthday.

It's like this. My parents are born in Germany. I am born in America. If I would go back to live in Germany, I would be more accepted as German even with my being born in America than someone whose parents are from Turkey but born in Germany as being German.

What's important to remember is that there are only 3 different races: Mongoloid(Asian and Native American descent, yes quit laughing it is what down syndrome children are called and it is politically incorrect), Caucasoid (European descent, yes, quit laughing it sounds like ca ca) and ******* (African descent, and you wondered where the politically incorrect word N*gger came from). Whether you are Mongoloid, Caucasoid or *******, we are all such a mixture we all have all three mixed in our bloods. There is no such thing as true race or ethnicity.

But, good question.

I think you should consider yourself an American ..I have a friend who is Korean, but was born in Germany. He is considered a Korean citizen since his parents are also Korean & from Korea, but on his passport his hometown is 'Germany.' (His parents were temporarily living in Germany because of work at that time.)
