Why do people sitting in a moving automobile insist on sticking their smelly foot out the window?

Besides the obvious danger of getting injured, doesn't it just scream out to the world "I'm an inbred moron?"

yeah, it's kinda gross, unless it's some pretty young lady with cute feet. But hey, at least that's the only body part thats out there flappin in the wind, in fact, some folks are so damn ugly, I'd rather see the foot flappin around than the chunk of meat on top of their shoulders! And you are sooo right, it's dangerous. But, that's darwin for ya.

I assume it smells less offensive out the window than it does inside the car. I'd tend to avoid anyone with such poor personal hygiene. It reminds me of the time Al Bundy took his family on a hike in the woods and sat down on a log and took off his shoes....birds started falling out of the sky.
