I just answered this question, I had a Razor slide in the vent, Ok go find a 12" inch screw driver, Buy some dum-dum at your local hardware or glass shop, Its a gummy substance like gum but really sticky, put a gum size piece on the end of it and slide it in the vent, any type of magnet will not work because the razor is not metal, slide it the vent and work side to side, it takes a while but it will work, hope it helps.

Get a flashlight. Grope around. Be very delicate with your groping, sometimes there are sharp edges down there. The seat slides forward and back, check it in each extreme of position.
If all else fails, car seats can be removed entirely with typically four bolts on the floor of the car, probably covered by some molding or carpet. You don't have to pull out all 4 bolts, just remove 2 and loosen the other 2. Some seats have wires going to them, watch for those. When putting the seat back in, tighten the bolts nearly as hard as it took to break em loose! That's vital. If in doubt, check a service manual for the correct torque. Check em later to see if they've loosened.

OMFG!!! that's happened to me!!! my effing SLVR got stuck. i got it out through some serious struggling. what you need to do is get one hanger. undo the hanger, and put a crap load of duct tape on the end, and it should be flat (make sure it's strong enough to pick up things that's similar to the mass of your cell). now, you're going to have to maneuver the hanger so that it can reach in. you probably don't know where the cell phone is, so you may need to call your phone to locate it. this takes patience and lots of time, but it beats paying 75 freakin' bucks!!! if i can do it, then you can do it! good luck, girl.

There is no way to get it out without TAKING OUT THE SEAT. There is no magic fix to get a cell phone out from under the seat. You are going to have to work some to get it. Just pay the dealer if you are afraid to take out the seat.

move the seat all the way forward and see if you can reach it from the back..... or move it all the way back and try from the front.
It might also help if the seat is raised - use the tilt button that changes the angle of the bottom of the seat.
Do whatever it takes to get it up as high as you can so you can reach underneath...

If you can't get your hand under there to feel around for it,use a wooden dowel or a ruler or some other tool to push it out the back side where you can grab it.

You can afford a BMW but won't cough up $75 to get your phone back? Sounds like a reason fee too me. He could have told you it would cost at the hourly rate.....

Reach down and grab it. If the space is tight you can buy a flexible mechanical arm for getting into tight spaces for a few $'s.
good luck
