hitchhiking from vancouver to california?

has anyone hitchhike across America from Canada or any part? is it safe ?
does anyone have advice i could use?
is it hard to get rides from BC to California?

Unless you absolutely HAVE TO I would never hitchhike anywhere let alone across that great distance.

You wont only have to worry about what kind of person one driver is, but likely multiples drivers. There are a lot of sick people in the world.

If you do hitchhike always keep an eye on all the people in the car.

welp, personally, i wouldn't do it, especially as a woman.
