leaves a lot of questions open as to what exactly you are talking about. does a person who is really deaf mute step away from what they see? that could be insulting. so it's a perhaps ineffective mix of the literal and the theoretical or ideal.

It's pretty profound, but it takes to long to figure out exactly what you mean. If you have to think about what you're trying to say for more than two seconds, it's not a great quote to use in conversation.
